Fixed Asset Accountant at MDLBEAST

Join our finance team as a Fixed Asset Accountant at MDLBEAST. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to manage and control the company's fixed assets, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Fixed Asset Accounting:
    • Record and maintain accurate information on fixed assets.
    • Coordinate physical inventory checks with the Inventory Team.
  • Depreciation and Amortization:
    • Calculate and record depreciation expenses.
    • Analyze the impact of depreciation on financial statements.
  • Policy Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Collaborate with auditors during audits.
  • Reconciliations:
    • Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger with the general ledger.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all fixed assets.
    • Generate regular reports on fixed asset status.
  • Capital Expenditure Analysis:
    • Analyze capital expenditure proposals.
    • Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations related to fixed assets.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
