Job Description: IT and Broadcast Engineer - MDLBEAST Radio

MDLBEAST is seeking a talented IT and Broadcast Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of MDLBEAST Radio. As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and high-quality audio delivery of our radio broadcasts.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain radio broadcasting equipment, IT and network infrastructure, including transmitters, audio consoles, and other technical systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot audio quality issues to ensure optimal sound performance
• Manage and optimize radio automation software to ensure smooth programming and commercial operations
• Collaborate with the programming team to schedule and execute radio broadcasts
  
• Assist in the setup and configuration of audio equipment for live events and performances
• Manage terrestrial and Digital stream to ensure uninterrupted broadcast
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on broadcasting and IT equipment to minimize downtime.
  
• Manage inventory and recommend equipment purchases or replacements as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in radio broadcasting.
  

Requirements:

• Experience in IT, broadcasting, audio engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of networks, IT infrastructure and radio broadcasting equipment and systems
• Proficient in troubleshooting audio issues and optimizing sound quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
