Job description

The main role of the Business Development Executive is to assist in the full sales cycle of acquiring, 

on boarding and nurturing existing and future resellers/affiliates partners along with managing our promoters advocating for and selling tickets to our events.


Resellers: Businesses that resell our MDLBEAST event tickets on their platforms and across their channels (i.e. ticketing platforms, travel agencies, retail companies, etc.)


Affiliates: Businesses looking to create co-products with MDLBEAST to offer to our customers on our website or via an affiliate redirection link. 


Promoters: A team of online and on the ground promoters acting as MDLBEAST ambassadors, advocating for our events, and selling tickets to our target audience.


This role will report directly to the Sales & Business Development Lead, and will work directly with all departments within MDLBEAST including:


  • Marketing/Creative to ensure that our resellers and affiliates are equipped with the appropriate marketing collateral along with assisting in any campaign related requests from the partners
  • Product by acting as a feedback loop and having input over suggesting new features/product enhancements based on partner requests
  • Finance by being on-top of invoices and payments to be collected from partners


I- Partner Acquisition:

  • Identify and establish new reseller and affiliate relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential partners.

II- Partner Onboarding:

  • Provide a comprehensive onboarding process for new partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop tailored onboarding materials and training.

III- Partner Management:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries and concerns.
  • Facilitate collaboration between partners and internal teams.

IV- Promoters Management

  • Manage and equip our existing Online Promoters with the necessary material.
  • Recruit and deploy offline promoters in key areas across KSA and later the region.
  • Work with local supervisors and generate the relevant reports per location to monitor performance.

IV- Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities.
  • Proactively identify areas for enhancement and optimization.

Job requirements

Education & Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal command of Arabic and English are a must, additional languages are a plus.

Work Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management, preferably within the entertainment, events, or digital media industries.
  • Proven track record of success in managing B2B relationships, driving revenue growth, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the entertainment and events landscape, including relevant trends, technologies, and competitors.
  • Familiarity with the reseller and affiliate ecosystem, including key players, best practices, and success metrics.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and secure partnerships. 
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities within partner accounts and the broader market.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G-suite
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g.FreshWorks, SalesForce, ZohoCRM) is a must.
