MDLBEAST is seeking a talented and experienced Talent Development Specialist to join our People & Culture department. As a Talent Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and retaining top talent for our organization.


Duties & Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Succession Planning:


  • Assisting in implementing and project manage our succession framework.

  • Partner with People & Culture team and with department heads to help identify top talent and develop roadmaps for career growth.


Development:


  • Work closely with various leaders across the organization to identify the training and development needs within their functions through job analysis, surveys, focus groups, and regular consultations with department heads, managers and employees.

  • Partner with Talent Development manager in developing PDPs for all MDLBEAST employees.

  • Create and design training presentations alongside Talent Development Manager. This means assisting in selecting or developing training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.

  • Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods pre and post training.

  • Implement Training & Development OKRs.

  • Help manage the Talent Development Master Data so it is up to date with all Talent Development initiatives.

  • Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.

  • Analyze and regularly update any administrative tasks related to Leapsome, our LMS system & Coursera.

  • Research, analyze and select suitable external training providers for MDLBEAST to partner with for Phase III. of training.

  • Support Training & Development Manager heavily from an execution standpoint in all related training tasks.

Job requirements

Education & Training Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience in training and development; specifically in designing & executing in-house training and development programs directly. related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (HR, Education, Leadership, Org. Development, etc.)

  • Certified CIPD professional or SHRM-CP, SHRM SCP preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements

  • Bilingual in English & Arabic.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of departments and diverse community.

  • Excellent work ethic and embodies a can-do attitude with the drive to take initiative.

  • Strong Presentation Skills.

  • Well organized with great coordination & critical thinking skills.

  • Skilled in analyzing data; great knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to determine training objectives.

  • Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology. Skilled in preparing instructional aids and plans via PowerPoint & Google Slides.

  • Good multitasker.
